New Product Development Specialist - Jakarta


About the Job

Analyze, review, propose, implement and update strategy as well as all activities related to new product development and commercialization in the category of retail and bulk cement and cement derivative products, both at corporate and subsidiary levels, having a value proposition and positioning following target market needs and developments, strengthen corporate competitiveness in achieving market share and other commercial performance, as well as supporting the realization of corporate product portfolio vision and strategy.

Responsibilities

- Plan work plan and annual budget according to the authority to ensure compliance with the company's RJPP and RKAP
- Review, propose, implement and update product development strategy by market opportunity analysis based on: understanding of customer and stakeholder, competitive analysis, company capabilities, and maturity, and technological development trends in the construction industry
- Analyze, review, and recommend the feature, specification, and technical requirement of a new product, including packaging, according to the needs of construction application in the construction segment of the target market, as well as the process of product harmonization from all related production facilities during the industrial trial and market test period with support from the production function, quality assurance, R&D and sales
- Analyze and review the quantification/validation of the benefit of each new product as an economic benefit for the company and added value for customers as well as providing consideration or input to related functions for optimization strategy if necessary
- Analyze and plan strategy as well as compiling material and activity for communication, advocacy, and product and service education to support sales activity and product introduction to internal party and target market stakeholder
- Plan, implement, and develop operational procedure, fulfillment of needs, as well as HR training system in supporting store sales through market education activity, obtain and manage networking with contractor, developer, and product user by established business process
- Collect, provide and manage data and report/documentation of activity required and generated/implemented during product development strategy implementation process following governance, risk mitigation, compliance with OHS standard according to the company policy and other applicable regulation
- Direct and control business process implementation, technology, and HR in the work unit and their staff following the management of Governance, Risk, and Compliance with applicable regulation
- Direct the way of working following the applicable OHS and environmental policies to create a safe work environment
- Monitor and evaluate the implementation of work according to the authority so that it is by the work target set

Qualifications :

- Minimum possess Bachelor degree majoring in Engineering / Business Management
- Minimum 5 years experience in the same industry and 2 years in the same position
- Have a Project Management Approach certification, Finance for Non-Finance / Eco Sim, Customer Excellence
