HR CONSULTANT

Location: Jakarta, Indonesia

JOB DESCRIPTIONS:

Performs a variety of HR duties of moderate complexity under general supervision and is expected to apply demonstrated knowledge of HR policies and procedures.

Responsibilities vary, but may include any of the following:

1.Assists in the interpretation and enforcement of HR policies, practices, and procedures. Ensures compliance with policies through training, coaching, audits, and ongoing review of personnel actions.
2.Assists in the development and update recommendations for the Employee Handbook.
3.Ensures organizational charts are kept current.
4.Gathers data on employee movements, such as hiring, promotions, lateral transfers, and terminations for local input and entry in the PeopleSoft system.
5.Assists in the administration of Compensation processes, such as merit increases, equity adjustments, promotions, and lateral transfers, and in notification to local payroll providers.
6.Administers performance management programs to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within the organization.
7.Generates various reports to meet statutory or organizational requirements.
8.Provides payroll administration when applicable. Administration may include following-up on sickness, vacation, and overtime; preparing information for payroll external subcontractor; correcting and timely information for PeopleSoft for all modifications; administering EIP and pension fund, and filling all social returns.
9.Maintains updated personnel files on each employee.
10.Coaches managers on steps to deal with performance issues, unsatisfactory performers, and how to terminate employees, if necessary.
11.Conducts exit interviews and analyzes the data collected through these interviews to develop recommendations and strategies to address turnover.
12.Assists in the design, development, and implementation of benefit plans and programs. Analyzes the benefit plans annually to ensure their competitiveness.
13.Works with managers to develop and maintain job descriptions. Ensures that the descriptions are accurate and that job requirement is comparable to similarly graded jobs. Obtains approval from HQ HR before publishing new job descriptions.
14.Responds to annual compensation and benefits surveys. Reviews prior year input, if available, matches positions, gathers the requested data, and completes the survey.
15.Provides Office Services duties when applicable to meet the facility requirements including dealing with third parties vendors, which provide cleaning, copy machines, office supplies, mail delivery, cafeteria, security, landlord, disaster recovery, et cetera.
16.Coordinates local medical requirements, which provide physicals, drug tests, annual medical visits, et cetera.
17.Provides recruiting assistance for managers including, but not limited to ensuring position has been approved, tracking position openings and personnel changes, coordinating internal and external postings, developing newspaper ads, evaluating applications and resumes to determine qualifications, setting-up interview schedules, participating in job fairs and college recruiting, coordinating interns and summer hires, coordinating employee relocation needs and conducting new hire orientation.
18.Assists International Service Employee’s (ISE) needs, such as visa process, work permit, housing search/negotiations, car allowances, schooling information, local market survey, et cetera.
19.Coaches and counsels employees on work-related issues. Investigates the circumstances surrounding such issues. Discusses the matter with all employees involved or having knowledge of the situation and with the manager(s) of the employee(s). Develops action plans for bringing resolution to employees’ concerns.
20.Supports Corporate Learning Excellence initiatives and delivers core HR process training to employees and managers.
21.Assists manager with learning and development initiatives for the assigned area.
22.Assists the manager with the communication of HR initiatives throughout the assigned area.
23.Performs other HR duties as specified by the manager.
24.Participates in the accomplishment of continuous improvement objectives for the department. Progress toward the accomplishment of these is measured through the maintenance of necessary measurements and analysis of associated data. Participates in the identification of problem areas and development of resolutions to address them.
25.Understands the Harassment policy of the company and is responsible for its application in all aspects of employment.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND KNOWLEDGE:
1.Demonstrated knowledge of various countries’ labor laws and regulations governing the Human Resources function.

15.Ability and willingness to travel as needed not to exceed 25% of the time.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCES: 

4-year college or university degree and a minimum of 2 years exempt human resource experience is recommended. Previous work experience must be progressively increasing in responsibility and accountability and demonstrate an ability to gain knowledge, skills, and responsibility such that a level of full competency can be reached.
 
Equivalent experience may be substituted for education.



MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

Location: Batam, Indonesia

JOB DESCRIPTIONS:

As the Facility Maintenance Engineer, you will:
1. Responsible to help make safety working environment for everyone.
2. Understood the concept of Maintenance Management System (MMS) and TPM.
3. Manage the Facility’s Asset Records (Building, Machine, Equipment, and Utilities) as the baseline of MMS.
4. Execute Monitor and Control Project & Engineering (Civil MEP E&I) and adhere to Project Management.
5. Creates, updates and maintains Facility Layout.
6. Maintains or improves manufacturing machine & equipment performance, uptime, and machine quality.
7. Incumbents may assist or lead craft personnel in diagnosis & troubleshoot of machine malfunctions and assist with needed repairs.
8. Works with manufacturing personnel on tooling, process, and quality problems.
9. Develops and implements an effective predictive and preventive maintenance program.
10. Designs or assists with the design of new equipment and/or systems installation and modification.
11. Teaches hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, pipeline, instrumentation, lube, HVAC, utilities (gasses, electricity, water, etc.), and related classes to craft personnel to improve repair skills.
12. Evaluates equipment at run-offs and updates technical libraries to maintain machine support data.
13. Troubleshoots thru RCCA equipment and systems malfunctions and recommends corrective action.
14. Designs or assists with the design of new equipment and/or systems installation such as material handling, paint, filtration, calibration, configuration, or other systems.
15. Adheres to established standards, policies, and practices relating to quality, cost reduction, safety, ergonomics, etc. in performing assigned duties.
16. Performs analysis to determine present and future space requirements.
17. Identifies utility needs and prepares detailed work orders.
18. Coordinates receipt of equipment and installation schedules.
19. Assists with machine maintenance and recommends corrective actions.

The successful candidate must bring:
- Proficient in English.
- Able to operate a computer and common business software.
- Engineering or related degree background.
- Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Have a minimum of 3 years experience in Facility / Plant Maintenance or related Support & Services.
- Knowledge in systems utilization and facility/plant engineering concepts.
- Capability to read and manage OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) Manuals, Drawing, DED (Detail Engineering Design), BoQ (Bill of Quality).
- Strong Problem Solving, and analytical skills.
- Good communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.

WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR

Location: Batam, Indonesia

JOB DESCRIPTIONS:

As the Warehouse Supervisor, you will:
1. Supervise various locations in the Logistics Department including Receiving, Order filling and Shipping, loading and unloading material, systems related grief resolution, and storage of material.
2. Supervising hourly personnel to ensure completion of assignments in a timely manner.
3. Drive team to identify continuous improvement ideas and engage support functions to implement the same.
4. Collaborate with packaging engineer to identify improvement opportunities for supplier-supplied parts preservation.
5. Ensuring components/goods are received, packaged, stored, and Issued in an efficient, safe, timely manner.
6. Manage shipping activity to ensure timely finish goods shipment with correct documentation and packaging.
7. Ensuring an effective workforce by assigning, directing, and motivating employees.
8. Enforcing company policies and procedures while abiding by the company/union contract.
9. Investigate root causes and perform corrective action to resolve the problems identified.
10. Responsible to support and achieve 100% Supply Chain – Logistics PQVC (People Quality Velocity Cost) targets.
11. Implement various initiatives such as 5S, Lean Manufacturing, 6 Sigma, Internal Certification, etc.
12. Promote the development of people through continued education, employee involvement, increased responsibility, and ergonomics.

The successful candidate must bring:
- Proficient in English
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree, preferably in Supply Chain and/or Logistics Management
- At least 3 (three) years of job experience in Logistics/Warehousing and having knowledge of various Logistics operations and Warehouse management systems.
- At least 3 years in a people leadership role with strong people management qualities.
- Certified or having knowledge in the 6 Sigma green belt. 
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, organizational, and communication skills.
